Indian Association Penang’s MITRA Free Weekend Tamil Classes for 2023/24 concluded on the 16th of Nov 2024. Since it started in October 2023, a total of 32 sessions were carried out for both subjects, i.e., Tamil Language & Tamil Literature. A total of 53 students (Form 5-21 & Form 4-32) registered for the classes. The Education Committee will organise a closing ceremony & certification program for the students & teachers involved in December 2024.
To continue this program, IAP has re-applied for a grant from MITRA for 2025.
