The Everest Base Camp, Nepal

Although a bit late, we’re absolutely thrilled to share some awe-inspiring news with you! From the 10th to the 24th of April 2023, four stalwarts of the Indian Association Penang successfully undertook an expedition to the Everest Base Camp, Nepal (5364m asl).
The proud team comprises:

2. Datin G. Puvaneswary V. K. Govindan
3. Mr. Govindaraju Kuppusamy
4. Mr. Michael Dass Joseph
   Our esteemed Secretary, Datin Puva, along with the other IAP members, hoisted the Indian Association Penang flag at the base camp of the world’s tallest peak. This collective act symbolizes their unity, shared accomplishment, and their unyielding commitment to our community.
   Reaching the Everest Base Camp is no easy feat. It requires a courageous heart, unparalleled physical endurance, and a spirit that dares to dream and achieve the extraordinary. Today, our team has exemplified all of these qualities and much more.
   We wholeheartedly congratulate Datin Puva, Mr. Chandrasegaran, Mr. Govindaraju, and Mr. Michael on this monumental achievement. Their extraordinary accomplishment is a shining example of the heights one can reach with determination, courage, and hard work.
   To our victorious climbers – You’ve not just scaled Everest Base Camp, but you have also raised the Indian Association Penang’s pride to new heights. Your journey has been nothing short of inspiring, and we are immensely proud of your achievement.
